ECH Super 6 represent GM in York
A huge well done to the below super 6 ECH athletes who represented Greater Manchester at the Northern Inter County Championships in York on 26th May 2025.
Hollie Carroll performed brilliantly in the Under 15 girls 200m finishing 2nd in her heat in 27.76. Georgia Fielding also went in the Under 15 girls 200m and finished a creditable 8th in her heat in 28.08. Olivia Jones went in the under 15 girls 75m hurdles and finished 2nd in her heat with 11.59. Olivia was also selected to complete in the 4 x 100m relay with the team finished 2nd in the heat with 53.03.

Amelia Jones had a storming run in the Under 17 women’s 300m finishing 1st with 43.03. Max Ormston raced hard as always in the Under 17 men’s 100m finishing 2nd in his race with 11.25. Lucas Rhodes went in the Under 17 men’s long jump finishing 12th with 5.04m. Both Max and Lucas went in the Under 17 medley relay finishing 3rd in 3.51. A big shout out to Lucas who stepped in last minute due to a drop-out and ran his first ever 400m. Feedback from the GM team manager ‘What a team player!’
