Joe dips for Gold!
The Northern Indoor Athletics Championships took place in Sheffield over the weekend of 10th and 11th January.
Joe Hudak went in both the seniors 800m and 1500m. Joe went in the 1500m final on the Saturday and earnt a brilliant silver medal, finishing just behind training partner Jonathan Kay (Bolton) in 4.16.80.
Joe went in the 800m final the following day. Joe showed great resilience to bounce back and wasn’t going to be dipped to line again. Joe threw himself over the line after a tactical race to take the Gold medal in a really tight race clocking 2.01.61. Well done Joe!
