Lily Murphy makes the headlines

East Cheshire athlete Lily Murphy has been making the headlines away from the track recently signing her first professional football contract with Manchester City this December.

Lily has also been representing her country playing for England U19 since Feb 2024 where she has gained valuable experience.

Last night (12th December) Lily made her senior debut for Manchester City in the Champions league and was on the scoresheet as well as being awarded player of the match.
